《遥远的希望》英译

 

    Hope in the remotest future

     (Translation in English for POEM IN DREAM)

You are

in my eyes

the most beautiful woman

for excellent idol.

You are 
in my life 

the always shining sun

for my soul.

 

Remembered the first day

I was lucky to see you ,

and that time you were a little girl 

of only thirteen years. 

Since then every evening 

I was happy to dream you,

and those days you have been missed 

for twenty-three years.

 

Ah!  Before I get my hope, 

must I go

such a long long road!

Ah!  Contrast I reach my dream,

now I have

so little little hope!

 

These secret things

about my heart,

you will not know 

      if I shouldn’t say them to you.

Those interesting details

about my love,

you cannot imagine

if I wouldn’t write them to you.
